The operator runs the service
Vireo Transit helps people understand and record a journey. The bus line or operator runs the vehicle and remains responsible for the route, timetable, crew, safety, licence, and passenger service.
Fares and seats
Transit shows the published fare available for a journey and class. A regular bus is unreserved and a regular ticket does not promise a seat. Where a journey uses two operators or two legs without a through-ticket agreement, it requires two tickets.
Live information changes
Timetables, disruptions, vehicle positions, and road conditions can change. Transit identifies stale position information rather than drawing it as current. Confirm important travel details with the operator when circumstances require it.
